Vaccine induced immunity is extremely inferior to natural immunity. When comparing people vaccinated, or naturally infected, in early 2021, the vaccinated have between 8 and 21 times the risk of infection with Delta (average: 13 times higher risk).

Vaccine-induced immunity also left vaccinated individuals at greater risk for hospitalization than previously infected individuals.

“Vaccinees had a 13.06-fold (95% CI, 8.08 to 21.11) increased risk for infection with the Delta variant compared to those previously infected, when the first event (infection or vaccination) occurred during January and February of 2021.”

It’s a simple procedure that takes under an hour, followed by an hour of observation. There’s no requirement to be seen by a physician (and can only be administered to individuals who have NOT been admitted to the hospital).

Receiving the infusion should be one of the first steps after a positive covid test, or presumed infection, for any individual who does not have a young, healthy, and robust immune system. This is likely applicable to anyone over 55 years of age without a known recovery from SARS-COV-2.
